I’m working on a major editing project along with all sorts of stuff I have ignored so I took a break because I had a cat photo. Who doesn’t like cat photos? I took this one at Wat Pho in Bangkok last month. I had no real idea if it would ever be published but when you want a quick edit your go-to is always an animal photo. In this a cat at a temple which is a common sight….
If you haven’t figured out I live in Thailand; surprise! I live in Thailand. With most crap shut down due to some virus that’s going around like cooties leaves me nothing but time. Not that I did a lot before. However, napping, watching TV and reading is hard work along with socializing with friends and keeping the San Miguel Brewery in the black financially. I still do the napping, TV watching and reading but the socializing seems to have diminished…
I did a similar photo to this but I like the look so I kept it. The title is the slight curve towards the end of the walk way. For inquiring minds, yes it’s HDR but I think it’s subtle enough to get away with it without making it look freaky. Enjoy.
Yep, I was in a swamp or wetlands or whatever the hell you want to call it. This was taken at Cyprus Run Park in Fort Myers Florida. Not a bad place to wander through and take some random images of swamp stuff. Sadly no swamp people to make it interesting. Enjoy
I think the title is obvious if you know the song and with the giant face in the photo, it helps make the point. This was taken at the Sanctuary Of Truth here in Thailand. Always worth a visit when you can actually leave your home country again or something. I did make it black and white because I blew the image out because my ISO was set to 1600 from shooting inside the building and forgetting to change it…
I could lie and say this was taken in Thailand but it wasn’t. It was shot in Fort Myers, Florida. They look about the same, to be honest, and the weather matches. The real difference is better food in Thailand and a whole hell of a lot cheaper here. Enjoy
This was shot in Fort Myers Beach, USA. I wasn’t kidding when I said I had a huge backlog of photos! Enjoy.
This is another one from Sri Ratcha I took while baking slowly in the heat. They have a ton of tuktuk’s around the pier area. Where I live we don’t have them. Honestly, to be fair to the guy it was fairly early in the day and when these guys aren’t busy they tend to play on their phones. Enjoy! PS – Bonus points if you know where the title comes from.
This was taken at a temple on top of a mountain in Sri Ratcha, Thailand. Yes, it’s the same place where Sri Ratch sauce was named after. It’s about 40 minutes away from me by car. I didn’t see much of the place because it was soul burning hot that day and I was slowly melting. Enjoy.
This is what I see when I am at my local pub enjoying a cold beer. I just happened to have my D810 with me and snapped this of two beach umbrella operators closing down for the day. To be honest I doubt they gave the Gulf of Thailand a final look. Enjoy.
