Vertical Monochrome

Still feel like editing building images in monochromatic. Just like how they look. These images were shot in San Diego, California and Jomtien, Thailand. Two different cameras were used, the departed Fuji X100S and my Olympus EM1. Some of the EM1 images got a bit noisy but I left it. Gives it a bit of a film grain feel.

San Diego: Architecture

This one is one of my longer series. I know architecture shots are sometimes considered boring but when you look at the image you can see smaller details in the image instead of the building itself. Be it the light playing on the buildings or the shadows that are being cast. Sometimes its the sky in the background or something interesting in the foreground of the image. While I could explain why I selected the image, photography is about your own interpretation. The images were shot on different days and at different times but I attempted to keep it in an order that made sense. Starting with daylight, dusk then night. So enjoy.
