Not shot on anything spectacular. Was walking into Induced Chaos HQ (also known as my condo) and saw this light out front. Having the always handy and dare I say mighty Canon 330HS with me the following was produced. I am pretty sure my neighbors think I’m weird with all the images I take around the building but photography is about capturing what is around you. Its just a matter of how you see it.
Oh, one of these images is just a crop and edited different than the other.
What happens when you take a 47 year old lens out into freezing rain? The results are below. I finally got my M42 adapter and stuck on the lovely Jupiter 11 135mm F/4 lens on the Olympus and out I went. Nothing like having an effective 270mm lens at your disposal for a fraction of the weight as some massive DSLR lens. Out into the freezing rain I went. I figured it’s a Russian lens so its used to winter! The bokeh on this baby is just magical and you can even see where it froze the rain drops and I had to manually focus. It did a fantastic job for the 10 minutes I had it out.
Little play on words there. Since the Stark motto in the Game of Thrones is Winter is Coming. To date, its here! When I was shooting the shadow picture I saw the thorn bush had some ice on it and slapped the mighty Canon 330 into macro mode and snapped the picture. Please to be noting that this is straight out of the camera. I did nothing to the image other than add the border/watermark and size it down for web consumption. Not bad for a point-and-shoot.
