I might as well end the week with a beach photo that was taken 43 frames later since I am looking at the file names and can tell by the count. This is again, Fort Myers Beach in Florida. When you get a nice run of sunset photos you keep it going, it’s that or I go back to my new boat fetish because I have plenty of those to go through. I had to do a lot of cropping…
Thinking this is a lovely sunset of the Gulf of Thailand? Wrong! This is actually the Gulf of Mexico and Fort Myers Beach! I took it in January 2019. The title of sea and sky might be a book that I vaguely recall or I was witty and it’s self-explanatory. Not sure why I haven’t edited it before but here it is for public consumption. Shocking, not done in HDR it’s just some filters and some Photoshop magic. Enjoy.
An old one from when I was last in America. Not sure how busy Fort Myers Beach is these days but it was busy then. This was taken obviously at sunset. The sailboat in the distance just happened to be there so it worked out. Enjoy.
Yes, I live on a beach in Thailand. No, this isn’t from Thailand. The image was taken on Fort Myers Beach in Florida. The title is from the slight motion blur in the palm leaves from the breeze. The long exposure time meant no way could I have frozen the image. Plus, it works. Enjoy.
I could lie and say this was taken in Thailand but it wasn’t. It was shot in Fort Myers, Florida. They look about the same, to be honest, and the weather matches. The real difference is better food in Thailand and a whole hell of a lot cheaper here. Enjoy
This was shot in Fort Myers Beach, USA. I wasn’t kidding when I said I had a huge backlog of photos! Enjoy.
This is another one from Fort Myers Beach when I was back in America. The title kinda speaks for itself in this one. Did a mild HDR edit and called it a day. Spent more time removing dust spots than anything else. Shot on a Sony A7ii. Enjoy.
I am flying back to frigid Maryland today after 3 days in Florida. So why not post a picture that will help remember what warm feels like. This was taken on Sanibel Island pointing toward Fort Myers, Beach in the distance. This is from the archives too and I never published this one. I took it with my Ricoh GR when I had it. Lovely camera and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fixed lens camera. The…
