I think everyone is getting bored of some of the rural stuff so I’ll change it up tomorrow but I figured why not one more. I saw the image in the catalog and really liked how the fence texture really shows in the foreground of the image. The sun was really painting the entire area in golden light and it also brought out the texture of the barn wood. For the first time ever I really did some editing in Photoshop where I normally just use it for the border and copy write along with the resize. I’m very pleased how it came out so enjoy.
This was the first image shot in the images I have been showing the last few days. I drove past it and pulled off the road and had to walk a bit to get to the shot. I walked past a couple of road kills, braved thorn bushes, and had my jacket stuck on a barbed wire fence. I wasn’t sure how I wanted this image to come out so I did it in both color and in straight up sepia tones to give it an older feel. I’ll leave it up to the viewer to see which they prefer.
