Loved this photo. It was a shot I didn’t remember taking of my friend Bee who was putting on makeup. She posed quickly and I snapped the photo and promptly forgot about it. I converted it to black and white and cleaned up her face a bit but the beauty is all Bee’s.
I shot this while I was in Thailand. The place is called The Sanctuary of Truth. It’s interesting to visit and nightmare to shoot as the lighting is either non-existent or flooded in from the outside.
Not completely happy with this photo. Was shot at night with no flash and at a high ISO. The little light I did have I tried to use to capture the water drops on the flowers.
Was playing with a Konica 40mm 1.8 lens I acquired and put on my E-P2. These were the flowers in the office that the persons partner sent her.
Was supposed to be working but I had seen these wall art on the side of a building near where I worked so off I went to photograph it. I liked the effect after I cropped it down.
Arlington National Cemetery again. If you live near the DC area I highly recommend a photo trip out there. You may think it is creepy to be surrounded by dead bodies under your feat but it’s really a tranquil and peaceful place. I have shot there several times now and the staff and visitors make it a pleasant place to just visit and shoot.
This rose was left on top of a sarcophagus at Arlington National Cemetery. I used a 28mm 2.8 Macro lens on my E-P2 to get the shot.
This was just another marker in Arlington National Cemetery. Just like the look of the cross.
I was wandering through Arlington National Cemetery and the tombstones are amazing there. I did nothing to modify this image. The sky was naturally gray and it just worked with the photo.
There are flower beds outside the building I work in and they caught my fancy so I snapped a quick picture.
