The Bridge

This was taken at Brookside Gardens is early October. Not sure the exact time of the day but I know most of the images I was fighting the light so it had to be early afternoon.

I hit a bit of a brick wall editing. Nothing was turning out like I wanted and I am still not happy with this image. I scrapped something like 5 or 6 images before I just finally said enough and finished this one and 3 others in the same set. I’ll publish all them but I’m not happy with how they turned out.

I turned on some Tool (the band) and fired up Lightroom again and started processing other images. Guess some angry progressive music got me going. Next thing I know images are starting to flow. The editing got easier and what was in my head was showing up in the images. I’ll publish 90% of them and the rest I’ll push out to Instagram as they just aren’t meant for here. I have discovered that my abstract stuff doesn’t do well here but great on Instagram.

Editing on this image. I have no idea? I did the usual curves and dodge and burn. So on and so forth. After that I got lost in the tedium until I said enough.

Hope you enjoy.

  1. I think this is a good start for the work week. I like photos from Brookside Gardens. The features I have seen in the photos are a well thought out journey for a nature lover. It is lovely and relaxing. A place away from the hustle and bustle of life at least for awhile. I like the shadows in the water that the sun provides to a visitor to the sight. I have enjoyed.
