Sense Of Scale

This is one from Thailand! I actually didn’t shoot that much there because I was enjoying myself too much with friends. If you have non-photographer friends it makes it difficult to leave them to go and shoot. They don’t want come with you because it’s rather boring to watch someone take pictures and I prefer to be alone so I don’t have to explain what I am doing or thinking.

I did go out for a ride one day and got to Bali Hai Pier which is always a good place to shoot and people watch. I only had my Canon S100 with me but it would work in a pinch so I took a bunch of pictures while I was there.

Editing wise I can’t push these files to the max because they degrade. While the Canon S100 is a decent camera, it’s not a Sony A7R or a Nikon D810. So fairly basic edits but I still like it. Also, I’m still mildly jetlagged so any editing errors are on me.

Enjoy.

  1. I like the photo. The comparison of the large boat to the small one on the water is fun. The weather looks iffy for a day out on the water. It is nice to enjoy the water and this looks inviting. I enjoyed!
