Public Display Of Faith

These are the last Canon SD1400IS I totally forgot about these images. So ends the experiment phase and I’ll go back to publishing images shot with a camera not developed in the early 2000.

These images are the local Catholic church and school. I honestly forgot the name but I was just wandering around and I liked the light coming in on the building and the two statues shots. I had to climb into the bushes for the second statue shot as it was behind a closed gate. No one seemed to mind.

Enjoy!

  1. You know I would love these photos. The church is Our Lady of Lourdes, Roman Catholic Church in Bethesda, Md. I knew it from the photo you took of the Lady with the girl at the grotto in Lourdes. The photographer’s grandparents used to attend church there when they lived in Bethesda. The church is an older beautiful church. The statue of Jesus with the children is very nice. It is a nice serene focus in the middle of very business Bethesda.
