Chicago Redux – Part III
I am sure many of you are tired of seeing Chicago building pictures. I promise I will wrap this up soon but its been an adventure in Photoshop editing to get these images to where they are. I am learning a lot as I go through them and doing more then I normally would.
I do know why I sold the Panasonic LX7 now. Regardless of how much I tweak the files they tend to be soft in the corners. There is weird color shifts at times; in particular in the black areas. Barrel distortion like no tomorrow. It has the Panasonic sensor tendency to mess with blues as well. I won’t even go into noise starting at ISO 400.
The Panasonic LX7 served me well. It had a glorious time while it was with me. Traveled to exotic destinations. I hope it found a good home. Just not one in my camera bag any time soon.
The next set of images will have been shot on a Olympus EM5. You will be able to tell the difference.
Until then enjoy.

The photos are nice. The buildings stand out and the sky is vey nice. I like color and these photos are very nice. Especially like the last one, the old architecture and the new under the very blue sky.
