I have been working in color too much. I knew I had to go monochrome soon. There is something compelling about monochrome landscape images. When dealing with lots of textures like this image it really draws it out.
This is the pier that the ferry’s dock on when you arrive to Coronado Island in San Diego. I took this as I was walking back to catch my ferry from the island back to the “mainland”. While there is some falloff the shot was done at F9 I think but you still get a sense of depth out of the image.
