Just some random stuff I shot that I liked while I was in San Diego.
I know I said I was going to do more than one image in a series but this one works alone just because of the person just sitting there. I was out on some lobster pier I think and this guy was just sitting there thinking and looking out to the bridge going over to Cornado and I snapped the image. I knew it was going to be black and white the minute I took it and I gave it…
I am trying to do more then one image posts but with my schedule these days its difficult but maybe the three image set will make it more possible when I don’t have to spent a lot of time doing the edits. I won’t lie and say the images aren’t tweaked as I do have a Photoshop workflow I use but they are more or less straight out of the camera. I used my EM1 and my 12-40 2.8 stopped…
I always wanted to use that as a title! These kites were always flying as they were advertisement for the kite shop that was near by. So when I was out walking I grabbed the shot. Enjoy.
I snuck out of work early one day and walked along the bay and took this shot. Nice cinematic crop and I was very good to go with it.
This is a pedicab that dominate the area near the convention center and bay walk around San Diego. This one was going by and I snapped the picture just on a whim. The way the blur works just captures the motion of the image. What should have been a deleted photo ended up getting published.
It’s all good, from Diego to tha Bay Your city is tha bomb if your city makin pay Throw up a finger if ya feel the same way Dre puttin it down for Californ-i-a Tupac Shakur
This is one of those quick edits that should go on Instagram but I like it just because I managed to hand hold the camera as some stupid low shutter speed. After a long day of working and shooting its just nice to come in and edit something quickly just because you can.
Just some shots taken while walking to and from various locals while I am in San Diego. I just like the sense of distance they give.
This one was shot on the 40th floor and sadly through windows that haven’t been cleaned in a long time. I tried to edit out most of the glass issues but when you are working remotely without all your tools you have to say enough and go with it. I still like the image as the sun was sinking into the horizon.
