Stained Class

Stained Class

Nothing like slipping in a Judas Priest reference! Of course, this is really stained glass but one can’t pass up naming a post like that, its like Houses of the Holy. You just have to do it. Plus with me being in the gallery it was likely bringing the class way down.

I do like stained glass and I have shot it a lot but have never been satisfied enough to share it. There was always something wrong with it on some level but this one I liked. The Ricoh GR was wide enough to get the glass and even with some lens distortion it captured it. The color is more-or-less straight out of the camera. Just some tweaking and good to go.

I am being sparse on the images because while I have been shooting, its on the new super double secret camera and not sure when I’ll get to those images but I promise a change up tomorrow with some other stuff I have shot recently.

Enjoy.

  1. I like the photo of the stained glass. The colors are so bold and bring out the detail of each depicted circle of the story it was telling. It really photographed well. I like the older churches with their stained glass windows that are no longer affordable in newer churches. Did enjoy.
