Long Winding Road
Shot from behind the windshield in my car as I came to a stop in the middle of the road. I normally don’t do selective color but in this case I think it adds to the image then detracts from it. With the trees being barren for winter the black and white adds to the moodiness of it. In the end I liked it enough to share.

Love the picture. It is a road I am very familiar with and have driven it many times. It is a very beautiful drive when the trees are full and the canopy of the trees make it almost heaven.
Stunning, a flawless example of a ‘pop shot’. Just goes to show that you dont need to be a pro or have expensive gear to capture a striking image.
Thanks for sharing, 🙂

Thank you. I had one of the expensive cameras with me, I was just too lazy to pull it out of the bag. I really need to credit Ming Thein and his Compact Camera Master Class for really showing me how to coax the best out of a cheap point and shoot. It’s helped my shooting with the expensive rigs because it forces you to be more creative then let the tech in the camera handle everything.

I agree! The spot color works very well with this shot!
Thanks.
Love it!!! That’s something I would have shot too
Thanks. Amazing what you can do with a point and shoot camera and some editing software.
