Power to the Flower
Who knew that in the start of November you could find flowers still sorta in bloom. Granted one is fake which I didn’t realize until I started to post process the thing but I liked it so threw it into the mix. Just like the shadows in the image. Still using the OMD-EM5 but I went with the 45mm (90mm really) which is weird for me as I use it as a portrait lens and not as a walk around where the most I’ll use is a 50mm so it was an adjustment looking through the viewfinder and finding angles for the other stuff I shot. For those of you into macro photography none of these was shot on a macro lens.

I liked all of the flowers! First, fake or real are my background on my computer. They brighten my day.
intens colors like !!!
Thanks!
Amazing pictures. Looks like a great camera this olympus.
It’s the lens more than the camera. The Olympus 45mm 1.8 is one of the sharpest lenses in the micro 4/3 lineup. The sharpest is the Olympus 75mm 1.8 which I have as well and have used to shoot weddings at ISO 2500 wide open and gotten away with it.
