When the Lights Go Down in the City

Props if you get Journey reference.  It’s still Chicago.  Don’t worry for those of you weary of Chicago, Thailand is next!

I like fire escapes and you only see them in older cities.  I saw this one while I was out and I needed to do a black and white photo so here it is!

Chicago Building

I think this is a famous building here in Chicago but not sure which one.  I was out walking to a restaurant and snapped the picture.  Was going to turn it to black and white but really liked how the sky was reflecting off it so kept it color.  Enjoy!

Washington Monument

I like the photo despite its flaws.  The monument is under construction right now after it was damaged by the rarely experienced earth quake DC had.  I was in Mexico at the time so I missed it.  So that is why the monument isn’t clear in the images. The scaffolding is playing with the lighting and blurring it but I really like the monument coming off the reflecting pool as I shot this off the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.  Enjoy!
