Sting Me

I know, its not a flower but its got green bits (proper botanical term) so it counts for me.  I know this is a bee.  What type of bee I haven’t a clue.  I’m not what you call a flora and fauna type of guy.  I just point the magical image capturing device in a general direction and it makes this magical click and things are done.  I like this image because I capture the bee’s shadow more than anything else.  I debated on cropping it to get in closer and bring out the details but the leaves give the image a sense of scale so I left it as is.  It works for me so I am happy.

Nice picture. The Wasp perhaps has come to rest or get a drink from the leaf of the flower. Won’t win a spot on my desk top, still like my faded glory.
