I think the black and white just brings them out.
Not bad for a cheap “consumer” camera and a 30 year old Minolta 35-70 combo. The Sony A58 is a bargin for $599.

I enjoy your pictures. I see them in a different light than you. Fungus are funny little things that pop up after heavy rains. Used to tell my children they were a new settlement of ant houses. Fun pictures.
