Country Walk
I am stuck in rural West Virginia for awhile while waiting for my Mom to recover from back surgery. The opportunities for street photography are non-existent and taking pics of the people at the hospital isn’t wise and my Mom has threatened death if I post any of the pictures of her that I shot while she wasn’t looking. So I dragged out my Canon 5DMK2 that I brought with me, threw a 50mm 1.4, a 85mm 1.8, and a 70-200mm 2.8 into my bag and my new tripod and went for a walk with a couple shots in mind and shoot whatever I saw. Normally I would not lug that much heavy gear around and walking up and down gravel roads isn’t fun but it was good exercise and I was soaked in sweat when I got back into the house. I posted some of the pictures from the walk yesterday being the chair and the flower. The rest I thought would be more interesting in telling a story of my walk.
Since I am on a laptop and not my normal editing rig I did all the edits manually without plug-in’s so there is a bit of inconsistency except for the size of the images which I did in the 6×6 crop because I just like how it looks.

I especially like “broken bench”. You have a great eye for things to catch with your camera!
I must have shot that bench 20 times. That is the first image I have ever taken that I like. The rest have been resigned to the rubbish bin.
