The Officer

I shot this very early last year on my first micro 4/3 camera an Olympus E-P2 that is no longer with me.  Used an adapted lens as I only had 2 lenses for it at the time.  I have no idea who the statue is of but it was shot in Arlington National Cemetery   While it looks in black and white it’s a color picture as you can see the copper of statue is green from oxidation.  The day was extremely overcast giving some lovely shooting light even at mid-day and the entire cemetery is set in somber tones to everything looks like it was in black and white.

The Officer

Olympus E-P2, Canon 35mm, ISO 200, f/5.6, 1/800.

I like the picture. I am not sure it is anyone person but represents a soldier of long ago.
